Hey everyone,
I upgraded my computer buying a new PSU (EVGA 1000w SuperNOVA) and CPU (i7-4790K).
Once everything was properly installed I turned it on and a red CPU led was on. System didn't boot at all, not even bios.
I've checked PSU connectors, CPU pins, CPU cooler not too tight, RAM sticks etc.. No luck.
So, I assumed that new components where the issue. Since fans, GPU and everything else runs fine I assume is not the PSU. So I removed the new 4790K for the one I replaced, i5 4670K.
CPU led was gone.
Now I have a bright red BOOT DEVICE led.
I'm kinda tired so I'll try new options tomorrow.
Maybe replacing the PSU to the old one. Everything worked fine before this mess.
Specs:
i5 4670K (i7 4790K)
ASUS Sabertooth Z87
2x8GB Gskill Sniper 1866MHz
Corsair CX750 (EVGA 1000w SuperNOVA)
840 Samsung EVO 512GB
Seagate Desktop 3TB
Thank you all.
