Hey everyone,
I upgraded my computer buying a new PSU (EVGA 1000w SuperNOVA) and CPU (i7-4790K).
Once everything was properly installed I turned it on and a red CPU led was on. System didn't boot at all, not even bios.

I've checked PSU connectors, CPU pins, CPU cooler not too tight, RAM sticks etc.. No luck.
So, I assumed that new components where the issue. Since fans, GPU and everything else runs fine I assume is not the PSU. So I removed the new 4790K for the one I replaced, i5 4670K.
CPU led was gone.

Now I have a bright red BOOT DEVICE led.

I'm kinda tired so I'll try new options tomorrow.
Maybe replacing the PSU to the old one. Everything worked fine before this mess.

Specs:
i5 4670K (i7 4790K)
ASUS Sabertooth Z87
2x8GB Gskill Sniper 1866MHz
Corsair CX750 (EVGA 1000w SuperNOVA)
840 Samsung EVO 512GB
Seagate Desktop 3TB

Thank you all.

Solution
use the usb flashback port put the newest bios file on the mb. check that the hard drive and ssd are on the intel and not the asmedia sata ports. if your using a 3 party heat sink make sure you did not screw it down to tight and are shorting out the cpu.

Solution
Ok I solved it, or something like that.

With the new CPU (i7 4790K) the mb turned on the CPU led. Installing the old one again solved it. Then the "BOOT DEVICE" led appeared. I used to have issues with the DVD-RW sata connector so I plugged it off and seems to work because now the system works fine.

I assume the CPU I bought didn't work. I'll take it to the shop where I bought it on monday.

Thanks anyway!
