Have a samsung evo 850 500gb transferred from old system to my system. However on my new system the bios detected the ssd but it's not shown in boot.

I have also recently updated my bios to the latest bios. Not sure if that matters.

Using asus tuf plus gaming wifi motherboard

Solution
It's likely the MBR (master boot record) is on the other drive (original drive).

You may have to do a reinstall of windows, but disconnect all other drives apart from the one you want to install onto. Then reconnect after the install, and it will pick up the MBR then.
