Boot Drive LED ON

So this is my first build and I can't seem to find out what I did wrong. I followed the motherboard instructions, everything powers on, but the led turned on during start up and won't let me enter BIOS. Any help is welcomed.

Are you connecting the monitor to the graphics card, and not to the motherboard?
