Question Windows crashed on 3 different motherboards

Don't know if it's possible. But this m.2 nvme drive has earlier just been used at a storage unit. But when we exchanged to a B550 motherboard we used it as systemndrive and installed windows. Windows 10. But after maybe one shutdown or two it suddenly won't boot. Tried several times to repair, but it failed and also failed a new install. But then he wabted to get the x870 board instead. So we had to swap to the intel Z590 again. Here we also installed windows on the nvme, went ok until a reboot the same day and same shut happened. Tried repair, but no.

Then the x870 board arrive at we installed windows 11 this time. Okay until second reboot or something. Again, beyond repair.
Have to mention I didn't delere the partition but I formatted it.

Ended up installing it on another ssd I have. Works out great. Sfc /scannow find corrupted files and repeared it, but no. Could the nvme be corrupt or broken?

Its a Samsung 970 Pro 1TB. How do I check its health?
It's strange that the 3 times I havebtried installed Windows on it, something has failed at some point either right after or during install. But not with a 10 year old WD500GB 2,5" ssd or Samsung 970 250GB 2,5" ssd.

If you tried 3 different boards and issues go away when you swap to a new ssd then the issue lies with your ssd. Fortunately 1tb is fairly cheap now.

I have 2 nvme drives. Both have failed either during install of windows 11 or come up with an error shortly after installing. Both drives have been installed when the drives was still unallocated. Also tried to format and install the main partition after the first one failed. Wiped the disk and tried again, same thing.
Bios updated, mobo, cpu and ram is new.
I ended up installing on the "old" ssd drive and things have been working fine for about 2 weeks. No errors during boot, no bluescreens and no windows repair boots.
FYI!! All other drives during installation was unplugged.

Now I have checked both drives with an nvme adapter and they are both fine. Done surface scans on both.
I`m afraid to put them back in, they are wiped clean now. So I might just use them as storage drives and use the 500GB "old" ssd for windows. Though I would prefer using a 1TB drive.

I also did a sfc /scannow from the command prompt on the laptop I`ve been doing the testing on. (Yes made sure it scanned the correct drive.) This one also came out with corrupt files after scan, as it did when in the desktop. I really would like to try and find out what these corrupt files are, and what can have caused them.

But what`s the chance of this happening to 2 drives that checks out good? It also happened on the old mobo. So 2 mobos, 2 disks, all with the same issue.

I would try a new USB stick and a fresh download of the windows install.
