[SOLVED] Boot Error "Please Power Down and Connect the PCIe Power Cable(s) for this Graphics Card"

So I was swapping out a psu from a 750 to 1000 everything was the same other then that. I booted successfully and i noticed my mass storage drive wasn't showing up. I found that the sata power connector must have gotten knocked out of the hard-drive. I shutdown the computer and plugged it back in and when i restarted i got the "Please Power Down and Connect the PCIe Power Cable(s) for this Graphics Card" error on my main screen. I've tried swapping out my psu back to the 750, tried another gpu swapped out the psu cables and nothing seems to work.

CPU: ryzen 5900x
GPU: RTX 3090
Ram: ddr4-3600 2x16gb
PSU: corsair rm750>>corsair rm1000
boot-drive: 1tb sabrent pcie3 nvme
Storage: 1tb samsung 980 pro pcie4 nvme
4tb seagate barracuda 7200rpm
Cpu cooler: nzxt kraken z73

Did you connect the GPU PCIe cables correctly on the RTX 3090?

To My knowledge yes. I didnt unplug them from the card only unplugged the psu end when i swapped the psu out. Not to mention it worked until shutdown to plugged that harddrive back in then when i went to start it up again it started getting said error.

I figured it out. turns out i have bad cables. I bought some cheap Chinese garbage individually sleeved cables brand: Asia Horse. Should have known cheap garbage wouldn't work at all.

You're actually lucky you didn't fry the 3090. Not that i have a particular thing against you but: why in the holy f**k would you even consider buying cheap no brand psu cable quality when even high quality ones are not always compatible from psu to psu. Even more so if they are used to powered a gotdamn 3090. Seriously. It's like some of you are asking for trouble.
