Question Boot Failure after upgrading the CPU ?

I just got a new Ryzen 7 5700G to replace my Ryzen 5 3600 as it is going into a build for a friend, but when trying to boot my computer after the install the debug light for CPU comes on and nothing boots on the monitor, when reinstalling the 3600 it boots again perfectly fine.
Anything I can do, or do I just return it and get another one ?

GPU is a rx6700xt, RAM is 4x8gb 3600, I'm trying to install the new bios, I honestly had no idea I didn't already have the newest if that's the case

Which MB ??? All 300 and 400 series chipset MBs need adequate BIOS version and also some of 500 series manufactured 2 or more years ago.
You need to update BIOS version using your old CPU before the switch.
