Boot from cd-rom with ms/dos

Hi,
First of all, sorry for my bad english.
I've an old PC and i want to install win 98. I've also the cd of win.
I've set the boot sequence with the cd as first, but the pc can't read it.
I tried to start the boot sequence with a ms/dos floppy, but i don't know the right command to boot from cd. Help me pls

Get a windows 98 boot floppy from here, those have menus to start from CD and even to start the installation from the CD.

Never versions of windows 98 had this floppy integrated in the CD so that never hardware could start directly from the CD without the help of a floppy.

If you can connect the HDD to another computer, you can copy the installation-CD to a directory on the HDD, build back into the old PC, do a "sys" from the boot-floppy, "cd" in to installation-directory (i.e. "c:\install.w98"), and start "setup".
