boot from nvme on unsuported motherboard?

so ive bought a pcie ssd for replacing my 120 gb ssd i currently have
after ordering someone told me that the motherboard doesnt support booting from it natievly
so ve contacted asus and this is true
they admitted that there are work arounds wich i want to know
the motherboard is a maximus vi extreme
