Hello, everyone. I need your help.

I recently purchased a new SSD from Amazon (this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYFKX41/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to install in my ASUS ROG laptop (this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834234041)

Installation went off without a hitch, and I successfully cloned all the files from my HDD over to my new drive. However, I am unable to boot from the SSD.

It doesn't show up in the boot menu or BIOS. I tried using EasyBCD to change my boot drive, but when I do that, an error message pops up saying I need to change the partition from a logical drive to a primary partition. That shouldn't be a problem, but Windows Disk Management says that my new drive is a primary partition. I tried using two different pieces of software (EaseUS and IM Magic Partition Resizer) to change it to a primary partition, in case Disk Management was wrong, but the option to switch between primary and logical does not appear in either program, even though every online tutorial I can find says it should.

I'm just about to give up and pay a specialist to do it for me, but I'd really prefer to figure this out myself.

Does anyone have a solution?
