Question boot from ssd

Hi!
Im trying to configure my PC so it boots from the SSD instead of my old drive. Ive cloned my C drive (where my windows is located) to my SSD and I think it worked out. But when I try to boot from the SSD in the boot manager it wont work. Any ideas?

Did you remove the old drive and plug in the SSD using the same connecting cables for power and data?

The SSD and the old drive were connected with their own cables during the process of cloning. Should I reconnect the SSD with the cables from the old drive instead?
