It's been a while since I have used Windows 2000. I need to set up a pc that is a user that has no access to any programs except one. I want this pc to auto log on as this user and then I need it to start up a program. I know how to set up the auto log on. I just need a little guidence with the program.

Look Bambi........It's Stiff.

put a shortcut into the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

To prevent the user from accessing other programs, you could alter the permissions on each executable you want to limit them from, and deny 'execute' access. I can't really think of a way to do this globally, at least not without 3rd party software.

Just remove the start menu items and set group policies to remove the drives form my computer, and run from the start menu

If they squeeze olives to get olive oil, how do they get baby oil?

Very true. But I could still hit ctl-shift-esc to get into the task manager and use file > new task to run a program.
