I bought a dell with an i5 2400 it worked perfectly with the stock dell psu
To make a long story short I installed a new power supply and my pc didn’t display signal I tried many different methods to fix this to no avail. Turns out I didn’t connect the 24 pin motherboard connection right.
I was so relieved everything ran smoothly until the windows animation showed up (see video link)
it nearly boots up then freezes and bootloops any help would be greatly appreciated and it would save me from going to a pc repair specialist please reply. I’ve already tried re installing the previous dell psu.
:??:

Thank you for answering but I don’t have the windows 7 disc should I just buy one or something

if its an OEM system its should have somewhere on the case the windows 7 key then just head to the microsoft web site enter the windows key and download windows installation files to a usb drive and reinstall, let me know if it worked.

Hi I tried that today and it didn’t work I then tried windows 10 and when I had it setup it did the same thing I’m really stumped at this point.🙁
