Hey all, first time posting here so I hope this is an appropriate thread.
Build specs:
Ryzen 5 3600
MSI B550 Gaming Plus mobo
EVGA GTX 950
Samsung 250 gb SSD
Samsung 500 gb SSD
2X G.Skill Ripjaws V 3600 8gb
A couple days ago my rig entered a boot loop. No recent downloads, windows update (that I'm aware of), new hardware, and no power flicker/surge prior.
I just built it a couple months ago and its been running perfectly until now.
It started to constantly reboot and get to various stages, anywhere from just POSTing to loading all the way to a desktop environment, and then cycle over again. I couldn't load in in safe mode, and it never stayed on long enough for the windows troubleshoot page to be of any use. I created a Windows 10 image disc USB to try and repair it and still only got crashes. I can get BIOS to stay up infinitely however.
So far my troubleshooting steps have been to disconnect my second ssd entirely, removed the GPU, swapped and tried each RAM stick individually, trying to repair windows from the USB, wiping my SSD from BIOS and reinstalling windows (unsuccessfully since it keeps restarting) , and swapping in a different PSU.
Still the same story, can boot into BIOS and it won't crash, if I try to do anything else it crashes after a varying amount of time, normally about 10-15 seconds. Checked the back of the mobo behind the CPU socket and it never gets hot or warm so i don't think its a temp issue there.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
