So i have just installed the samsung 840 evo 250gb ssd into my computer it has power and a sata cable directly into the motherboard.

i havent installed the driver and the samsun magician and data migration. i then restarted my pc to go the boot menu and change the boot order but when i got to the screen it would not let me on the boot screen. my keyboard is the corsair k95 so it has bios switches, i have tried every bios setting and have tried a second keyboard and have tried the following keys on the startup scren f1, f2, f10, f11, f11 and delete nothing seems to work.

thank you in advance and i will find an info needed

It should be telling you what to press during the bootup cycle.

If your keybd isusb and your pc is a tower then make sure you are plugged into one of the ports at the top of the backplane, about where the old ps2 keybd and mouse would be. if you have ps2 ports then the usb ports to use are usually right above them.

If you are not able to switch the boot order then it should be going into windows off the old HDD. If it isn't getting that far try disconnecting the ssd and try again. If still nothing then check around the motherbd for something you may have knocked loose.

i hav a major problem with both those solutions which is a can not put my sata cables in the other ports because my gpu is in the way a lighting storm friend my other pci port also the storm friend all usb ports apart from 2 usb 3.0 ports
