Boot Menu issue

Toshiba L875-S7209. System crashed. Cannot reload as the bios wants a supervisor password to access the boot menu. I've tried removing the cmos and laptop battery and pressing the power button and also let it sit for 48hrs. However it still wants a supervisor password to enable the boot menu. I never set a password and did not have this problem a month ago so must have come with an system update. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also tried backdoor password "Toshiba" but that did not work nor did holding the left shift key.
