boot msg missing

Hi i am getting the above error no windows installed yet. Tried the restart just get same message .the person i got it off said it needs windows installing just put the disc in drive that's it, but i put the disc in in cd drive nothing, i have took pictures of the screens i get but don't know how to post them Thank you for any info

You are probably getting the error because your PC is not booting from the installation DVD.

You need to bring up the boot device menu and soon as you power up, choose "CD/DVD drive" from the menu, then press <Enter>.

Alternatively, go in to BIOS Setup at boot time and set the CD/DVD drive as the first boot device.

I can't be more specific about which key gets you in to the boot device menu or BIOS Setup since you didn't post your PC model. The person you got the PC from should know how it's done.

Did you mean to say the message is "boot MGR missing?" What version and edition of Windows?

sorry yes its missing .windows 7 32 bit trying to install from disc Thanks
