Question Boot Nvme Asrock 970m Pro3, support said not possible, PCIE 3.0 x4 adapter WD SN750 NVME drive works great is there a way to get it to run 3.4ghz???

Sorry first time posted put most everything needed to know is the question above, but its throttled down to 2.0 x4 and runs at 1.6ghz is there trick fix something I can do to get it up to 3.4ghz speed besides going redoing my whole first build to Ryzen.

AMD FX8350
RADEON XFX RX 590 FATBOY
ASROCK 970m Pro3 is what I have

You’re lucky that it runs at all and you probably only have PCIE 2.0 If that is what the card is running at

The slowest device in the chain dictates performance.

Fast drive
Fast adapter
Slow PCIe 2.0 slot on the motherboard.

It is what it is. Be thankful it actually works at all.
