Hi
Very silly question but I have to fix a friends pc, the bios is locked out w
ith a supervisor password, can pull the CMOS battery and reset etc. but would rather not.
Del enters the BIOS, but which key enables you to select the Boot Order (i.e CD rom, Hard drive) WITHOUT entering the BIOS before boot?
I know I can do this on all IBM, Dell, ECS motherboards, but not too familiar with Gigabyte, the m/b is GA-8IDX.
Have downloaded the manual aswell, no use/help.
Therefore is there not this feature available on Gigabyte motherboards?
i.e you have to specify the boot order in the bios, and there is no way of temporarily changing the boot order pre-boot?
If there is a way, which function key is it to select the temporary boot order pre-boot?
Thanks
