Boot Options #2 name WMWMWMW

Okay so this one is weird. So my PC hangs (again) and checked tthe BIOS and surprised that the Boot Options #2 is WMWMWMWMWMW. I have no idea what this is.

is your normal hdd showing in boot option 1? or is it Windows Boot Manager there?

is this Aptio bios? Is this a laptop or desktop? do you know what motherboard you have?

I cannot reply to you because I cannot see the reply button in mobile, but here are the details.

I am using Aptios. Boot Options(Hard Drive) sometimes disappear, changes SATA to PATA or PATA or SATA. I don't know the model of my motherboard but its brand is Manli. I am using Desktop. Windows Boot Manager? I cannot access it. I am having two blackscreen errors:

Disk Read Error
Reboot and Select Proper Media Device

I cannot boot

It looks like your hard drive is on its way out, especially looking at those two errors

See if hdd works in linux, also useful way to copy files off hdd if it is seen: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/ (there is a USB version as well)

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB << handy boot disc if nothing else
