I deleted my boot partition when trying to create raid 1 to increase the storage on pc.
I have a mix of Sata and nvme m.2 ssd's
Boot partition was on nvme....there's still a primary partition but no boot on that drive.
I need to get it back as there was an 8Tb logical drive...
Bootrec /fixmbr don't work

However when: volume list on that drive i can see this: volume 1 last win10

Thank you all who contributed to solving part of the issue I'm dealing with.
Using your advice, my knowledge and research I have successfully rebuild the boot partition and now can logon to Windows and few drives.
Unfortunately the windows dynamic disk has been converted to Basic by windows, I'm going to start another thread on restoring that. Feel free to contribute.
"I can't lose the data...that's the problem... "

Then where was the backup for this?

Even if you had not deleted that partition, creation of the RAID 1 array would have deleted ALL data across both drives. Oh yes...

And a RAID 1 does not "increase the storage on pc ".

Only partial backup as it was 10Tb in total. I bought two 14Tb drives to create Raid 1 and move it across. In Raid setup, all drives showed as one array (even the empty ones) - there was no Raid before.
I stupidly selected all (A) to delete the array as there was no option to select the 2 for Raid 1.
I didn't create a new one on the previously used drives so I'm hoping it's still recoverable somehow....

After using some tool a few hours ago I've restored a boot partition but not sure if it was the correct one as there was many..(?) Pics attached. However, I still can't use bootrec /fixboot because I'm getting access denied 🙁

How did you create an "8TB logical volume" from two 4TB drives? In fact, if you are wanting to recover the data on this 8TB volume, why are you messing about with the other drives?

That was some 2 years ago...I think I created two dynamic disks in windows and then merged them but I'm not 100% sure.
I'm not messing...I made a foolish decision after a long day of working on other issues...and trust me I regret it dearly....

Sorry, wrong choice of words.

If you are after the data on the 8TB dynamic volume, then you might find that DMDE can rebuild a virtual 8TB spanned volume from those two drives, and you could then save the files to your new storage. ReclaiMe has a free version that can determine the parameters of your spanned volume, but it requires payment for actual data recovery.

Of course these tools require a Windows environment in which to run. Maybe a Linux Live CD could autodetect and automount your 8TB volume?

No problem.

The best and desired option would be restored to the state where it was before I messed up the boot partition.
If not possible I'll have to get the 8TB back and check if C had some staff on it.
I'll check that DMDE tool, looks like you like it.
I tried live Mint but the older version will have a go with a new one.
