Hi everyone, I have purchased a new M.2 NVME (Samsung 970 EVO 2tb) and after installing it my pc gets stuck on the "Reboot and select proper boot device error" I have tried UEFI on/off, legacy mode on/off, the boot priority is set to the correct drive but still will not boot into windows while the new drive is installed. If I uninstall the new M.2 and have just the old one in that has the OS on it the pc works fine. If anyone has an idea it would be greatly appreciated as I have been researching for hours and tried so many things.
Thanks

Older drive is a Sabrent Rocket Q
New one is Samsung Evo 970
MOBO - ROG B450-F
Bios version 4801

So 2 drives in the system when its working?

The C is the Sabrent NVme?
The D is a 1TB SATA?

The "fix" is probably as simple as moving the SATA cable from whatever port it is in now (5 or 6?) to one of the other SATA ports.

Often, use of an M.2 drive will disable one or more SATA ports.

This is the case with your motherboard.
"When the M.2_1 Socket 3 is operating in SATA or PCIE mode, SATA6G_5/6 ports will be disabled. "

What other drives are in this system?
With it running, please show us a screencap of your Disk Management window.

Unable to post image or link in the reply for some reason but the disk management list is:
(C: ) Simple Basic NFTS Healthy 476.37GB 252.1GB 53%
1Tb SSD (D: ) Simple Basic NFTS Healthy 1023.87GB 174.44GB 17%
System Reserved Simple Basic NFTS Healthy 579MB 111mb 19%

2 drive when the new 970 evo is not installed at all.
