Hi. My new hp pavilion laptop refuses to boot after showing the hp logo. It's set to UEFI with a 1TB sdd at sata0 and 13.4gb hdd at PCIe1. After enabling legacy, it shows there's no os installed in the hard drive. Does this mean that there's no os even in the UEFI boot manager? System info shows there's a windows 10 in it.

Is this Laptop new or just new to you? You say there is no OS on the hdd, but you did not mention the ssd. Normally a laptop will boot using the default settings. You should not use UEFI for drives unless they have been GPT partitioned. When you turn on your lap top, start tapping the esc button for the startup menu. Choose boot device options (f9) and see what's available.

The laptop is new. And it only shows no os when I switch to legacy. It's default settings is it's UEFI configuration. For boot options, os boot manager is first on UEFI and notebook hard disk for legacy. But legacy was disabled originally

Can you tell us what HP laptop do you have more exactly? Because I don't understand how do you have a 13.4GB HDD on PCIe1??
If you have windows 10 install it should boot to system recovery after 2 or 3 times of failed restart.
