I'm at my wit's end here. For the last few months I've had this issue (unable to identify what may have caused it) but since I usually just leave my computer on Sleep overnight rather than doing a full shutdown I didn't want to bother troubleshooting it. But my frustration came to a head recently when doing some stuff that required restarting the PC.
I've got an SSD. When I first installed it, Windows 10 booted in probably 10 seconds. Nowadays, it sits on the Windows logo & rotating dots for 10 minutes at a minimum.
Furthermore, if I actually want to shut down my PC once in a blue moon, it takes roughly 5-10 minutes from clicking Shut Down in the start menu for the PC to actually power down.
I've tried all the easy solutions Google has provided. Stuff like disabling/renabling quick boot, updating drivers, scanning for errors via command prompt. Nothing has come up or helped. Samsung Magician shows the SSD still functioning totally normally.
Anyone else have this problem and solve it successfully? Or know how I can try to troubleshoot it further?
