Question Boot ssd not detected by bios

My boot SSD (a 250gb 850 Evo) isn't detected by bios at all, but I plugged it into my dad's computer and while it doesn't show up in the my pc section it does show up in his device manager. In device manager, the bar shows up as black and the device says its completely unallocated even though I remember there being around 240gb used out of the total 250gb storage space. I'm wondering if the drive is completely dead or if there is something I can do to repair it so I can retrieve my data.

I forgot to mention that all my other drives are detected and work fine. Also, it isn't simply a cable problem as I've tried other SATA cables without any success
