Boot Time Inconsistency

Typically, my Win 7 boot time as measured by Glary varies from 11-15 sec. One boot out of every six boots or so the boot time is 30 sec. or longer. It seems each subsequent boot to the long boot is back to 11-15 sec. Does anyone have any idea why the inconsistency? I've checked scheduled tasks, startups and auotoruns, including services, and can't find anything there. Installed is 360 Total Security, and a a dozen lightweight apps, plus Mozilla Thunderbird, Maxthon Coud browser, and Rollback Rx Professional.

Solution
ok, so you're using an SSD. I was wondering about that part. and the issue vanished moving off the OCZ?

sounds like a drive issue. OCZ drives aren't known for their reliability.

Hibernate was disabled several days ago so that's not it. I suspected a defrag happening at boot but don't see that scheduled by Windows or third party.

I think that's from the first second of my custom boot logo until the second the desktop appears, which I'm able to use instantly. Glary states that the 11-15 secs. is faster than 99% of other machines and they claim to serve 44 million customers.

My first clean boot of the day was 12 secs. I was running a 65gb OCZ Vertex 2 when I posted. I've since switched to a 265gb Samsung 850 Pro and it appears that the issue has been duly resolved. Why? All I know is that I cloned the Samsung with the OCZ and the Samsung is now my main drive, booting consistently quick.

This I would have done several days ago except that MS insisted that my Win 7 was not authentic which it definitely is. The only hardware change was the disk. So if I connected the OCZ that has an OS while having my Samsung also connected I surmise they would come after me again. I ain't buying a new Windows every time I change or add a disk!

For weeks my shutdown has been 2-5 secs. My reboot is the same. Both are from keypress to power supply. For years I've used Superfast Shutdown and never had any problem that I am aware of with system files or any other files having been corrupted. I'm religious about system wide backups with Rollback Rx Professional hourly and Macrium Reflect daily.
