-I was using my Lenovo Edge 15 laptop (Windows 8.1) when programs started freezing up one at a time. Eventually I gave up waiting and restarted the computer.
-Terrified to find that once the Lenovo logo went away, I was stuck at a black screen forever.
-Used System Refresh, but all it did was lag up at "Please Wait" for a few minutes before saying that it was "unable" to refresh.
-Used System Restore to run my computer back. Got past the black screen to my desktop, but now if I so much as open a folder Windows crashes completely and I have to restart again.
-Used System Repair, got a "could not repair your computer" message.
-Checked my BIOS and under Hard Disk it says "Not Installed"
Is this the end?
UPDATE:
I just realized that I can open pictures, video, etc on my desktop. If I open a folder or do anything that uses Windows Explorer, however, it stalls for a minute, then crashes.
