Boot up bleeps.

On boot up, after a short period I get a long bleep and then a shorter bleep and the computer will not boot up. The only change I have made to the system is only replacing the case and reconnecting the front panel connection. All these connections I have thoroughly checked. I have changed the graphics card, memory, PSU But nothing rectifies the problem. I cannot find any information about "one long Bleep and one shorter bleep".

What motherboard do you have? Do you still have the manual for your motherboard?

You can generally find out which beep sequence relates to whatever problem within the manual for your motherboard.

Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4. Yes I have the manual and the indication from the bleeps is that it is Dram or M/B. Have changed the RAM but what could it be on M/B?
