Boot up takes too long!

So I built this budget computer, and I decided it wouldn't be worth it to get an SSD card. So without this SSD card, my computer takes about 1 minute and 30 seconds to boot up. But it doesn't really get "warmed up" (if you know what I mean) for about 7-8 minutes Basically, it takes about 7-8 minutes to reach it's max performance. So a solution that I was considering was to NOT shut down my computer at night, but maybe just put it to sleep or something. Would this be a good idea? If it is not a good idea, any other suggestions as to what I can do to solve this problem? Thanks!

Check what things are running at startup with MSCONFIG (or the startup tab in Win 10). Your "warm up" period sounds like there are a lot of processes scheduled to run at boot time (software updates, virus scanner updates, etc). Those tasks take resources to run. Once those are complete you have all the resources available.
