I ended up wanting to reformat just to declutter my system and potentially improve my performance, so I got a copy of Windows 7 but didn't realize it was 32bit. I'm currently running two SSDs and ran the setup in OS and installed Windows on the other SSD. By the time I realized how I had screwed up, I got a 64bit copy of Windows 7 but upon trying to run the setup, I was met with the incompatibility message.

I currently do not have access to a USB drive or DVD drive to put my copy of Windows 7 onto, and am looking to see if there is a way to run the installation of windows directly off my SSD. Is this possible? I have been scouring Google results for a while and I can't find anything besides installing Windows ONTO an SSD. I'm trying to do that but also use my second SSD as the windows installation boot drive.

I tried to run the 64bit Windows disk within the installed 32bit windows and it says "the version is not compatible"

I found an old external harddrive and I extracted my ISO files onto it, have it as an active partition but when I try to boot it, it gives me an error saying "invalid system disk" .
