Question Bootable pendrive to normal pendrive

Hello

I have some doubt I am trying to make my 16 GB pendrive bootable flash drive after the OS can I change the flash drive into normal one (if once we can make bootable device it will not back to normal?)

Once you make it bootable you can format the drive and delete all partitions in disk management to make it not Bootable.

Very very carefully selecting the right drive because if you select a hdd by mistake it's going to be deleted just as well.

For myself, I've never done anything other than "erase it all" and start using the USB drive as per usual again. And by "erase it all" I mean via File Explorer. You can always choose to reformat the drive as well, from within Windows, where you know the drive letter because you can have checked it in File Explorer first. I don't use diskpart when working with USB/SD media.

There are occasions when making any USB drive or SD card bootable can suddenly seem to "make space disappear." The drive will not show its full capacity. If that's the case I have always used the Zero Drive option of:

to reclaim all space on the drive again.
