Hello everyone, so i purchased a new laptop - asus rog strix gl503vd it's 2018 year edition, it doesn't have a windows instaled, so i tried to use my usb drive to instal windows, but it's nit showing up, i can't make it as default boot device, so i can't instal windows, what should i do? Thanks

P.S. This is what is showing up when i press esc button on startup, it allows me to choose the boot device, but there isn't my flashdrive. https://prnt.sc/kqb6mk

The flash drive needs to be bootable. If you used Microsoft's Media Creation tool to create the installation then this should not be the issue.

Also, do not set the flashdrive as the boot device in the bios. Set it to whichever drive you will be installing windows to.

To boot from the flash drive to install windows you need power on the laptop and on the screen, usually at the same time that it says press XX to enter setup/bios, you will see another selection that says something similar to Select Boot Drive. (I beleive it was the esc key on the last Asus I looked at) Then you will be presented with the list of Bootable drives that the system detects.
