[SOLVED] Bootable USB

Hey, I wanted to install Mac OS X Snow Leopard on to my PC. I have a extra hardrive I drive I want to install it to. I got snow leopard but its a dmg file. I uses power iso to convert it into a iso. So now, if i use the windows 7 usb tool to make the usb bootable, will the installation work normal?

The windows 7 usb tool only does windows files. I found another program to configure my usb. http://www.isotousb.com/ It configures my usb fine, will mac still install?

There is no such thing as a "normal" installation of OS X on a PC. If you are prepared to do a lot of research and messing about then you may be able to do an install - it all depends upon your hardware. But this is definitely not a straightforward procedure.

I wouldn't bother. OS X is OK, but it's nothing special. Choose something easier - Linux or FreeBSD. If you have a particular need for OS X (iPhone development is the only one I can think of) then buy a Mac.

the only way i ever saw it work is in a vm.

microsoft virtual pc

Yeah I use VB for Linux. I might as well try OSX on it too.
