Hello,

I am trying to create a bootable windows 10 flash drive from a macbook pro for my new windows machine. I have set the bios to search for it first but it is still not working. The bios recognizes the flash drive but when I boot I still get the "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"

I am using the following:
Macbook Pro running 10.11.2
16gb flash drive
The windows iso is called: Win10_1607_English_x64.iso
The new machine has a Gigabyte Z170 HD3 mobo

I have tried the following techniques but to no avail:
Etcher to flash the OS onto the drive

Bootcamp
And others

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Solution
I can't find any USB creator software that can run on Mac OS X.
If you're running Windows, you can use the freeware ISO2Disc to create a bootable USB from ISO file. You might need to choose GPT partition style if your PC uses UEFI firmware.
