I am encountering some difficulties installing windows 10 from usb. I created the installer using rufus. I have already disabled secure boot and fast boot. I have enabled csm but the usb still cannot be detected. I am using tuf z390

Try to change the option corresponding to "target system" in Rufus. From what i remember, i had the same problem. I had to change that option for "UEFI" or something similar (can't remember now what it was). When i switched, it worked without a problem, earlier it was invisible.

I only have UEFI(non csm) for target system on rufus

I think theres something wrong with my usb flash drive. I noticed that when i am using it, yes it gets detected by windows 10 however if i restart my pc and left it plugged it is not dectected. I have to unplugged then plug it back in for it to be detected again.

I assume You copy entire installation .iso on the bootable USB when creating it?

Check the bios, if it is set to boot from USB.
Try another usb port (mb try usb 2.0 at the back of the case).

If that doesn't help, try another usb device.

No more ideas from me.

USB sticks are cheap, i would try a new USB drive and do a fresh install of Win 10 to the drive. I personally do not use Rufus to create bootable flash drives so i am no help with Rufus.

I create my bootable flash drives using CMD prompt then using the DISKPART commands, no software needed.
