Booting problem

I just replaced my 400W PSU and got myself a 520w. However, my computer doesn't boot up. I thought maybe it was a problem with the new PSU but the same thing happens with the old one. My motherboard led turns on, processor fan starts running, graphics card fan also runs but I don't see anything on the monitor. Just a blank screen with the monitor light blinking. What do I do?
I had a BSOD the previous day but when I restarted it worked fine and then I replaced the PSU.

double check to make sure you have connected all the right cables.

specifically, the GPU PCIe cables (if it has any) and the 8 pin MOBO connector are often missed.

also m ake sure your sata cables and power cables are connected to your hard drives.

Did you connect the CPU power connector?

I made this silly mistake when I was assembling the rig shown in my sig.

Make sure the memory is sitting properly (even if it looks it does, take it out and re-sit it). If nothing works the next step is to do the isolation test. You take everything out of the box and only connect the necessary hardware to boot your machine (CPU, RAM, VGA). The reason we do that is to avoid any shorts that may be created inside a case (the back of the motherboard touching somewhere in the case or a screw, etc). That is why you setup your components on a non conductive surface (we usually use the motherboard box, cheap and convenient).
