Booting speed and the total laptop is slow

My laptop is Hp Dv6 7040tx
6GB Ram
2 Gb Nvdia Geforce Graphics
756 GB Hard Disk
Beats Audio
Even Though everthing is their But still my lap is too slow

So what is it slow in? Gaming? That would be normal they do not compare hardware wise with desktops.

A Solid State Drive will make all the badness go away. It will make your laptop fly in comparison to what it can do now.

do you mean to say that your laptop has slowed down from what it was. if so,what were the circumstances surrounding the slowdown ie hardware changes software installs etc?
