My Asus P7H55M mother board needs an IDE Drive connected to boot properly, if not connected it "hangs".. is there any setting to boot without the IDE drive connected.

HI. I was booting from the IDE drive... but wanted to remove it as it is becoming.. "old tech"....however after posting the question... I saw a reply from a similar question...I went into the Bios and "Disabled" the IDE drive..........Voila.....Sorted... Many thanks for your trouble.

However... I have another query ref the same board... I am using an Intel i7 processor, and is a 64 bit assembly...is there any way to configure it to 32 bit ??
the reason is that one of my programmes (Musicmatch 9) will not run.. in Windows 7 Home version. It works on a 32bit DELL pc using Win 7, Now here's the daft bit... Musicmatch 7 runs....but is slow.. has a small viewing window, and is a poor substitute.. I have tried running in XP service pack 3 simulation.. it appears to loads but will not run.. I am getting annoyed that I may have to revert to an older board, just to get Musicmatch to run.
