Hi all,

After installing M5A97 EVO R2.0 BIOS 2201 my HDD has disappeared from the 'EZ Mode' boot manager screen (the one where you can drag and drop different drives in order of boot priority). Now only my SSD and Optical drive appear.

This means that whenever I boot up or restart my computer, I get the message 'BOOTMGR is missing', forcing me to restart again. I can get round this problem by pressing F8 to go to the 'old fashioned' boot manager in the BIOS screen and selecting the HDD from the list, but having to manually do this every time is a bit annoying.

Does anyone know of a solution to this?

Thank you both for your help. I swapped the HDD and SSD SATA ports with each other and now the SSD has disappeared from EZ Mode and HDD has taken its place, meaning it can boot as normal.

I think you may be right about the BIOS gaborbarla, as the SSD surely should show. But does it not showing in that menu as long as it boots?
