So, i have formated C drive because of errors and now when i start PC it says BOOTMGR is missing, press CTRL ALT DEL to restart. So i cant install Win 7 from CDROM. Does this mean that i've removed bios? ( i can acess bios settings, Qflash etc.)
try changing your boot order to boot from CD first. If that works install windows and then change your boot order back to your boot drive as #1 in order after you are up in running.
BIOS is chip on your motherboard your formatting drive C has no effect on it. You can try to reinstall the O/S from your CDROM however is sounds like your hard drive dying I'd get an new hard drive and install your O/S on it.
in windows it did normally read cds. the motherboard may be the problem. Someone told me that it is a virus and i have downloaded some stuff before the problem started ( if you want to know what problem i had, read my previous thread. it could be connected. )
