Bootmgr missing, failed windows 7 install

I am having the error of bootmgr missing. I started the install of windows 7 on my freshly built computer, and all seemed well until it froze and I attempted to restart and I received this error. I have been trying for the past several ours to diagnose this problem and fix it. But I cannot figure it out. This is my first computer build ever and it is getting a little frustrating.

System specs:
AMD FX6300
Saphire radeon 7790
Crucial Ballistic Sport 8gb(2x4gb) 1600mhz
Cooler Master GX 750w
Samsung 840 series SSD
Samsung SH-224 DVD writer

I have tried installing it again...but it just makes it to 1% and fails

Your only listing a SSD. BAD idea to run ONLY a SSD, as they have LOW read / write life expectancies as compared to HDDs. Normally you want to load OS and Large programs to the SSD, then manually map Temp files, profiles (My videos, etc.), and install games and such to a large HDD where numerous log files read/ writes won't kill the drive as fast.

That said, it looks like the OS didn't install right, make sure all the connections are set right for the I/O and drives, then wipe and reinstall 7 again to the drive.

That is what I had assumed was the problem. What would be the easiest or best way to go about wiping the hard drive?

Personally to also 'test' the SDD that it isn't defective we could use (google it) Boot Wipe Disk freeware. Download it and create a Boot DVD, run it, will wipe the drive. If it can't then the SDD maybe defective from the getgo.

Thanks for the replies, I found an other thread with the exact same problem as me and he used DBAN. So I gave that a shot and it is working right now...hopefully in a little more than an hour I will be able to install windows.

Yeah so I am fairly certain my ram is the source of all of my problems. But I have no way of testing it. I will take it back to the store and tell them whats going on and hopefully they will be able to help me.

I don't know at this moment how you came to that solution. Have you downloaded and run memtest? If the RAM is bad it will show up. Otherwise I would check the Mobo Mem requirements TIMING, check that the memory has that sequence (like 1-2-1-1) that usually would also cause Mem issue too..
