Borderlands 2 Freezing Problem

When I would play borderlands 2 for about 5 minutes it would freeze and I have to turn it off from the task manager. I have tried running it on the lowest settings too but it still freezes.

Any suggestions?

GPU: Gigabyte 650 ti 2GB
MOBO: MSI Z77A-G41
RAM: ADATA XPG V1.0 series 8gb (2x 4gb) DDR3
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64
I'm not sure if you need anymore specs, just ask if you do.
I'm also not sure how to get the temperatures of my computer.

CPU:
Core #0: Min: 40*C Max: 72*C
Core #1: Min: 43*C Max: 71*C

Also, the PSU is Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600W

I used to have windows 8 on this computer and I could play borderlands 2 on it perfectly but with my windows 7 it isn't working.

I have a found a solution to this which I found at

where you run borderlands 2 from Borderlands2.exe not launcher.exe
