Hey everyone,

When I play in Borderless Windowed on Windows 10 I get stutters, but my fps doesn't drop.
It just look overall unsmooth. When I change to fullscreen it's completely fine.
On Windows 7 all I had to do to fix it was turn off Desktop Window Manager aka Desktop Composition. But in Windows 10 this is sadly not an option, as it is impossible to run Windows 10 without DWM.exe. So how would one go about fixing the stutter in Borderless Windowed? I really don't like playing in Fullscreen.

Thnx in advance.

Yours,

Sjana.

Turn off V-sync within your game settings to see if the stuttering/tearing goes away.

Hope this helps.

Thnx for the response, but I already went back to Windows 7.
Besides, the V-Sync in Windows 10 can NOT be turned off. Because you can not turn off DWM.
In the links you posted I see no solution to turning off the V-Sync that is being forced on.
The stuttering mainly comes from the Triple Buffering, and it happens in every game.
Some people have problems with it and others don't.
For now I will stick to Windows 7 and it's glorious performance.

Yours,

Sjana.
