I'd take the Ripjaws, hands down, every time. They are much higher quality sticks and the latency penalty obviously isn't optimal but at that speed it's unlikely to be terribly noticeable anyhow, other than on synthetic benchmarks. In terms of gaming, so long as there are no problems with either kit, gaming performance is likely to be indistinguishable from one to the other.
I'd still go with the G.Skill Ripjaws or Trident Z sticks due simply to the better quality and in the even you should ever need it, superior customer service. If price is a big deal, then go with the Ballistix. They are still ok sticks.
