I have a Z590 and Z690 both of which won't wake from sleep. They reboot instead.
I have tried taking the GPU drivers back as far as v472 the last standard/non-DCH driver).

If I understand it correctly, I want to use S0 or S1 state as S2 and up start from the "CPUs reset vector"?
powercfg /a says the firmware does not support these states.

Is this a GPU issue or something else?

Updated both PCs to latest UEFI.

GPUs are GTX 1070 and RTX 2070S. I also tried a GTX 1660 Ti.

Can you parse the specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Since you're talking about two builds, we should be seeing two specs's lists. please add the version(not edition) of the OS if you're working with Windows 10. Also helps if you state where you sourced the installer for said OS. Include the age of the PSU's as well as the BIOS versions for both motherboard's.

Sorry.

Z690: I5-12600KF, 16GB F4-3200C14D-16GVK, 1TB 970 Evo Plus Boot, W10 LTSC 2019, MSI MAG Tomahawk Wifi DDR4, RTX2070S, RM750x PSU, Fractal Design R5, Corsair H110i v2 cooler
  • This one is solved - The UEFI is still new and buggy. A Beta BIOS resolves the issue. Now v12Beta
  • When I said "updated to latest UEFI" I meant "latest stable"
Z590: I5=11600KF, 32GB F4-3200C16Q-32gtzn, 1tb 970 Evo Plus Boot, W10 LTSC 2019, MSI Gaming Plus DDR4, gtx 1070, RM750x PSU. Phantom 820 chassis. Corsair H110i v2 cooler. Currently v A4

Windows ISO was sourced from Microsoft. 17763.1 patched to 17763.2366 (2021-12), 1809 LTSC
Both PSUs are within warranty (2018, 2019).

I have a beta UEFI to install for the Z590 which I will test tomorrow.
I guess if that doesn't work, no other suggestions withstanding, I will reinstall Windows on that PC and see if that solves it.
