Both displays turned black and won't turn on anymore, GPU broken????

Is my gpu or motherboard broken?????? My 2 displays RANDOMLY turned black -> no signal and won't turn on anymore.
The fans have started running louder, after opening my PC case it turned out to be the fans of my GPU // 780 TI msi edition.

This all happened while my friend was making some earrape "COMEDY SHORTS GAMER" sounds with a macro on discord....

i would test the gpu in another system .

that's going to be a bit hard without another system.

does you board have onboard video chipset you could try it with 1 monitor and remove gpu from system for the test .

i'm not sure. It's an asus motherboard Z87-K, but whenever i tried plugging in my hdmi cable into the motherboard it just wouldn't work. like those connectors just don't work.

I've tried just connecting the computer with one monitor and have both be powered ( literally only hdmi cable and powercable) but this wouldn't turn on. "no signal".

did you try the vga or dvi connector not the hdmi from system .

I've tried every possible kind of connector with my motherboard in the past ,NONE worked
Just the usb's, etcc.

you have to find a way to test the gpu it might have done something with motherboard .

i think i need to replace thermal paste -> card mightve been overheating.
After 4 hours of doing nothing to it it started working again.
( Before that i only unplugged the CPU cooler & took it out together with ram -> afterwords putting it back in)

when you will be able to restart use hwinfo on sensor page to check all fans sppeed temp and voltages give the result back here .

gpu was broken, apperently something overheated. doubt i'll get a 2nd hand as its 1 year of the 2 year warranty

this was a second hand they might have do some overclock on this reduce life span your better with a new one with full warranty .
