Both USB port work but the black piece inside laptop broke off but came out how can I connect my printer to Acer Aspire emachi

I have an Acer aspire Emachine E 525 laptop both of the usb black piece broke but came out of laptop. My laptop said usb is updated and working how can I hook a 2.0 usb hub or my printer into one one the port ? This is the only reason for this laptop my printer works well with it . Please help .

replace the broken USB ports

you can buy them in several electronics shops, or unsolder them from defective mainboards.
to exchange from old to replacement usb, ask someone who has soldering equipment

without the black pieces in the ports, the contacts can not connect properly

Thank you helpstar . My mother board works great it updated the Usb . Is their a temporary fix so I can print until I can get parts .

The laptop doesn't know that the hardware contacts are defective, no way to connect through USB. Be careful with that plugs because if the contacts touch each other the laptop main board could be damaged permanently.

Only way I can think of is to upload the files you wanna print and use another pc or laptop to print it. Connect the defective laptop with the network through lan port.

If the laptop has a xpress card slot or similar, you could plug in a USB extension card.
