Solution
i went with a i5 2500 (non k because i dont like overclocking) and it runs like a beast if you want to overclock get the i5 2500k (by the way these two cpus are identical to the i7 2600k apart from the fact that the i7 2600k has hyperthreading and oc where as the i5 2500k has oc but not hyper threading and the i5 2500 has no hyper threading or oc , so yea no point of hyper threading in gaming thats only good for like video editing , my i5 2500 for gmaing still runs everything like a beast no lag low temps amazing
Just grab a i7 2600K and a decent air cooler (perhaps the new cyrorig R1 ultimate), assuming your MB chipset is Zxx and you're willing to overclock. If not, grab the newest xeon with hyperthreading you can stick on your motherboard. Next year, you can blow $500 on a brand new GPU.

you can if you want but i like sandy bridge arcitecture the ivy bridge arcitecture actually used cheap thermal paste in between the ihs instead of sandy bridges soldered ihs . what does that effect ??? tempreture the tempreture on ivy bridge cpus is much higher than cpus which are sandy bridge
