Hi folks,
Im thinking on a replacement for my old HD 4850, but Im limited by my processor. My PC is:
- EP43-U3DL
- Core 2 Duo 8400 @ 3.00 GHz
- 6 Mb RAM
- 550 w power
Im thinking on new R9 270, or one step down a GTX 650 Ti boost. The idea is to make a light OC to my CPU, and keep using my Pc for maybe a while. I will use my PC mostly to play total War Rome 2, which does not use Physx, and maybe playing some shooters.
The question is how will do my CPU with any of those 2 GPU, regarding the bottleneck, and if is it worth or not. I would use this new GPU on a future PC, maybe in 1 year or so.
