[Bottleneck] Does the i5 7500 bottleneck the GTX 980Ti?

I'm planning on making my first ever build and I have chosen these components.
Does the i5 7500 bottleneck the GTX 980Ti or vice-versa?

For the most part no but it really comes down to the game and resolution.

I'm looking to play basic 1080p gaming in FullHD 1920x1080 resolution or lower. It doesn't really bother me. I usually play less demanding titles but I'm looking foward to playing Fortnite, PUBG, HITMAN 2016 and others. I'll investigate and see benchmarks online.

NO. The only bottleneck anyone will hit is if you had an old i3 or Pentium and you paired it with a 1080 or something.

You should be fine for 1080P to 1440P, the only issue I could see is not your actual hardware but the games themselves as far as new releases that haven't been fully optimized.
