Bottleneck Help with GTX 970 and FX-4300?

Hi, I'm trying to build for around $900 AUS (Around $650 US) and I'm putting an FX-4300 and a GTX 970 in it, would I find a bottleneck with the CPU?? If yes, should I get a 960 and save money?

That wouldn't be a good idea. I think the FX-4300 is good for budget builds if paired with like an R7 370 or GTX 950 but definitely not a GTX 970. Surely i5-4460/4590 + GTX 960/R9 380 is in your budget?

What about a Core i3 6100 and a GTX 960?

That's ok, you can always upgrade to an i5-6500 or better later on anyways. Choose a motherboard that supports DDR4 RAM, not DDR3.
